About

I earned my Master of Social Work at USC.  While accruing my clinical hours, I worked with a varied demographic, including seniors and their caregivers; chronically and terminally ill clients; clients with physical disabilities; and severely emotionally disturbed children/adolescents.  I also worked with the adults in their 20’s through 60’s that I have now chosen to focus on in private practice.

Prior to earning my social work degree, I received an M.A. in Modern Thought and Literature at Stanford.  This degree continues to inform my work, as it lets me at times bring in a wider lens that encompasses history and cultural criticism when needed to explore the sometimes-negative effects of society upon people.
