I use multiple techniques, including: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to develop insight into your history and its effects upon your current life; Narrative Therapy to aid you in developing an empowered sense of self; CBT, to teach you to restructure unrealistic thoughts that color your feelings; and Somatic/Mindfulness techniques that teach you to overcome the flight-or-fight response and calm your body so that you can mindfully respond to situations and make positive choices for yourself.
My work is always collaborative, affirmative and strengths-based. I work with you to set and meet goals for your therapy, so that you can notice and benefit from a sense of progress and positive changes occurring.
